Introduction: 0 = 1, 1 = 2, 2 = 3
Remember how amazing it is to lie outside and look up at the stars. No matter where you are on earth, this is the one universal spectacle which all mankind shares.
Since the beginning of time, man has observed the heavens in wonder, and what he soon realized is the stars travel in predictable patterns. By observing the heavens man discovered geometry, and ultimately discovered Sacred Geometry.
This does not mean that every line, triangle, or cube is sacred. What is sacred are the geometric patterns the creator, the Great Architect of the Universe chooses to build with. By studying and contemplating the beauty of his geometry you can come closer to understanding the creator, the universe, life, and the purpose of our own existence.
Sacred Geometry and mathematics are closely intertwined, so it is important to study numbers as well as shapes and patterns.
The basis of our physical world, and our own lives, is based upon the universal foundation number three and the following equation: 0 = 1, 1 = 2, 2 = 3.
Of course this is not what you learned in school, but then what you were being taught was simply mathematics, not Sacred Geometry.
Follow this idea: Nothing is actually something, it is the absence of everything. If everything is gone, then what do you have left, nothing, therefore nothing is something. Therefore 1 = 0 and 0 = 1.
Remember your high school biology? In the world of life you have one living thing such as an amoeba, given time the one will split into two, 1 = 2.
Now we come to the final equation. In life, if you have two (male, female) and you add them together you will produce a third, therefore 2 = 3.
The image above depicts two bodies combining and a new body being formed by the union of the two. You will see this design on church windows, in ancient text, in pictographs, and Egyptian hieroglyphics. The concept of three as the foundation of the living universe has been in existence since the beginning of time.
Now at this point you may conclude I am just playing with words, this is stupid, and decide go back to your normal comfort zone of programmed thinking. Or you can start to learn the ideas of Sacred Geometry which were developed thousands of years ago.
All you need to do is open your eyes and begin to see things in a new way, a natural way.
Sacred Geometry does not ask you to believe in any religion, worship any deity, or place blind faith in what others have to say. Sacred Geometry is about you looking for yourself at real everyday things with your own eyes and see them for the first time in a new light.
The Universal Foundation Number: Three
Three is the foundation upon which our world is built. It is the logical number since it is the only way we could have a physical existence. Only with length, width, combined with depth, can a three dimensional world exist.
In my lifetime I was taught the entire universe and everything in it was made from three things, protons, neutrons and electrons. Together they made the basic building block of the universe, the atom.
Of course, today we know that is not true. We now have Quantum Physics. A new challenging and somewhat confusing science of subatomic particles. The base is the photon called a quantum.
A quantum displays three characteristics,
- Wave form,
- Particle form,and
- Wave particle duality.
No matter how you slice it the number three is still the fundamental foundation of our world.
You don’t need to study quantum physics to see the power of three is all around us.
Everything has a beginning, a middle, and an end, we enjoy birth, life, and death. Space is created by three things, length, width, depth, and we live in the past, present, and the future.
We grow up using the number three to get things up and running: get set, ready, go. We talk about the poor, the middle class, and the rich. We say something is as easy as one, two, three.
Did you here the joke about the Rabbi, the Minister, and the Priest who walked into a bar? How about the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost? When you were growing up, were you taught your ABC’s?
The rainbow is made from three colours red, blue, and yellow.
Certainly other numbers play an important role in our lives and in the universe, six and nine are pivotal, seven is magical, and twelve is harmonious, but three is the foundation of our physical existence.
You can study Sacred Geometry and learn to go with the flow of the universe, or spend your life fidgeting with the numbers and fighting the current of the universe.
In your journalforlife, take a few moments and ask yourself, how have your travels been so far?
